PRAYER
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.”
Philippians 4:6

We each connect with God in different ways. The Draw Near collection of prayer opportunities recognises this and provides a variety of ways to draw nearer to God in prayer.
To find out when the next Draw Near event is on, check out our What's On page.
We pray together, as followers of Jesus, wanting to hear and receive from Him.

A time of prayer using art materials, collage, text and writing, digital image, etc.
This is for both those who consider themselves artistic, as well as those that don’t but would like to give it a go. All are welcome. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring anything you wish to use.

A time of pausing, opening yourself up to the presence of God. A space to be. Gently led by Margaret Brown from Holt.
Simple art materials, pens and paper will be available. Bring whatever you need, or bring nothing.

An evening of letting go of the stuff of life that can overwhelm, consume, burden and drain us, by using well-used forms of Celtic Christian prayer and spirituality.

An evening in church with music and space to ask God for a greater awareness of his presence. You can bring a cushion, a blanket, anything to make yourself comfortable.
There will be quiet music playing in the background or if you want total quiet, bring earplugs.
There are no rules except to be considerate to others, so no chatting.
There will be prayer support available for unpacking if the need arises.
