We've a brand-spanking new series of talks starting in September at St James' in which YOU get to choose what we look at. Called 'Your Questions' it's a chance for you to ask the questions that are important to you. It might be stuff about life, about the bible, about relationships, etc. etc.
We are really looking forward to finding out what are the questions that are important to you. We believe that God has something positive and life fulfilling to say in response to the questions we bring to him. We also believe that Christianity is not a religion of the dark ages, but a living faith that has answers to the difficult and challenging stuff we face today.
We are also savvy enough to know that Christianity doesn't have all the answers; for example if you want to know how to change the rear transverse links on a 2007 VW Passat we recommend section 10.11 of the Passat Haynes Manual; or if you want to know how to cook up a scrumptious Spanish chickpea and chirozo soup for 4 in under 30 mins you're better off going to page 144 of Jamie's Dinners; or if you want to get your head around the statistical challenges posed by massive and complex data streams in astrophysics, astroparticle physics, and cosmology go study at the Centre for Inference and Cosmology at Imperial College...
All other (reasonable) questions you can throw our way!
The closing date for questions for this series of talks was June 2017. We've received so many questions that we may have to run this series again in 2018!
